    Mr. John is the proud owner of The Goddard School at Highland Creek. He is passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. Mr. John is proud to have two Goddard graduate children, which makes his connection to the school community even more meaningful. Mr. John enjoys spending time with his family and making lasting memories together. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, snowboarding, and golfing. Mr. John also loves football and is a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan!

  • Jennifer

    Ms. Jennifer is our Executive Director. She has a BS in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and has her level 3 NC Early Childhood Administration Credentials. Ms. Jennifer is pursuing her master's degree in BK Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development with a concentration in Early Childhood Leadership and Program Administration. Ms. Jennifer has worked at the Goddard School since October 2012.

  • Lindsey

    Ms. Lindsey is our Program Director. She earned her associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Stanly Community College in 2015. She also earned her level 2 Administrative Credentials in June of 2017. Ms. Lindsey is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree with a major in Early Education, a minor in Psychology, Philsophy, and Peace & Conflict Studies, from the University of Greensboro. She has two children of her own and strives to meet the needs of all children. Ms. Lindsey has worked in the field of Education since 2010 and has been employed with Goddard since August 2018.

    Ms. Emileen is our Assistant Director. She has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, along with her Pennsylvania Director’s Credentials and NC Level II Administration Credentials. She has worked in the field of education since 2003 and has been employed with Goddard since July 2018. Mrs. Emileen's favorite children's song is "Baby Bumble Bee," and in her free time she enjoys reading and baking goodies. :)

  • Angelina

    Ms. Angelina is one of our teachers in our Eager Elephant's (Older ones) classroom. Ms. Angelina has her AAS in Child Development. Ms. Angelina has worked in the early childhood field since 2016 and has been with the Goddard School since September 2022. Mrs. Angie's favorite children's song is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and in her free time snuggling with a cozy blanket and taking a nap.

    Ms. Cloe is one of our Lead Teachers in our Fabulous Flamingos (Younger Three's) classroom. Ms. Cloe graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School and is starting college classes at Rowan Cabarrus Community College in Fall of 2024. Ms. Cloe started working with children in 2020 and has been employed with Goddard since November 2023. Cloe's favorite children's song is "You are my Sunshine" and in her free time she enjoys drawing, painting, crocheting, and reading.

    Ms. Evie is one of our Lead Teachers in our Fabulous Flamingos (Younger Three's) classroom. Ms. Evie has her North Carolina Credentials and is working towards an associate's degree. She started working with children in 2022 and has been employed with Goddard since August 2024. Evie's favorite children's song is "Why Should I Worry" by Billy Joel from Oliver and Company and in her free time she enjoys reading and playing video games.

  • Heather

    Ms. Heather is a lead teacher in our Cuddly Cubs (Infant) classroom. She has her North Carolina credentials. She has worked in the field of education since 1997 and has been employed with Goddard since December 2018. Mrs. Heather's favorite children's song is "ABC's" and in her free time she enjoys snuggling on the couch while watching TV with her dogs.

    Ms. Jade is one of our Teachers in our Happy Hippo's (Older Three's) classroom. She recently graduated from Ardrey Kell High School in June 2024. Jade is currently enrolled at South Piedmont Community College majoring in Education. Jade has worked in the education field since 2022 and joined the Goddard September 2024. Her favorite children's song is Do You Wanna Build a Snowman. In her free time, she enjoys shopping.

  • Kalpita

    Ms. Kalpita is one of our Lead Teachers in our Zany Zebra's Classroom. Ms. Kalpita has a Master's in English Literature. Ms. Kalpita has worked in the education field since 2024 and has been employed with Goddard since October 2024. Her favorite children's song is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and playing pickle ball with her family.

  • Keilani

    Ms. Keilani (Kya) is one of our lead teachers in our Cuddly Cubs (Infant) Classroom. Ms. Kya is a Registered Behavior Therapist, she has since than decided to take on a new adventure by joining us at The Goddard. She has worked in the field of education since 2019 and has been employed with Goddard since July 2024. Ms. Kya loves all educational children's songs. In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing and doing make up.

  • Maliyah

    Ms. Maliyah is one of our lead teacher's in our Happy Hippo's (Older Three's) Classroom. Ms. Maliyah has completed her Associates in Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Development from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Ms. Maliyah started working at The Goddard School in December 2021. Ms. Maliyah's favorite children's song is "The Criss-Cross Song" and she enjoys shopping in her free time!

  • Niki

    Mrs. Niki is one of our wonderful Jolly Giraffe (Younger Two's) teacher's. Mrs. Niki has completed her CDA, and has interest in pursuing her education in the Early Education Field. Ms. Niki strongly believes children need that strong figure in their lives, because it is very important to their development. Ms. Niki enjoys interacting and helping to build a foundation for children. Ms. Niki has been employed with Goddard since March 2023.

    Ms. Nina is one of our Jolly Giraffe (Younger Two's) teacher. Ms. Nina graduated from Central Davison High School in 2021. Ms. Nina plans to take classes at a Rowan Community College and then transfer to a University to study Early Childhood Development. Ms. Nina has been employed with The Goddard School since August 2021.

  • Nyla

    Ms. Nyla is one of our Teachers in The Terrific Turtles classroom. Ms. Nyla graduated from Hopewell High School in 2023. She received her Early Childhood Education certification in 2024 at Central Piedmont Community College. She has worked with children since 2023 and joined the Goddard School July 2025. Her favorite children's song in the Wheels On The Bus, in her free time she enjoys watching TikTok.

    Ms. Sarah is our Amazing Foreign Language Educator. Ms. Sarah is working toward furthering her education in Early Childhood. Ms. Sarah has worked in the education field since 2018 and has been employed with Goddard since November 2023. Her favorite children's song is the Freeze Dance and in her free time she enjoys reading and listening to music.

  • Amanda

    Ms. Amanda is one of our Teachers in the Marvelous Monkeys (Younger Ones). Ms. Amanda graduated from Rowan Cabarrus Community College majoring in Vet Assistant. After graduating, she decided she would rather work with children and is considering going back to getting a degree in Speech Pathology. She has been employed with us since October 2024. Her favorite children's song is The Itsy-Bitsy Spider. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking sweets.

  • Barbara

    Ms. Barbara is an Educational Support Staff at our school. Barbara earned a BA in Mathematics from the University of Northern Iowa and numerous years of experience in the field of education. She has been employed with Goddard since September 2014, and believes that each child is special and just needs the right environment to reach their full potential.

  • Cameron

    Mr. Cameron is our Steam Educator. Mr. Cameron is currently continuing his education in Early Childhood Education. Mr. Cameron loves to help out in every room of the school, interacting with all the children, and learning all about new families. Mr. Cameron and been employed with the Goddard School since September 2022.

  • Erica

    Ms. Erica is our Administrative Assistant. Ms. Erica is pursing her education in Early Childhood Development. Ms. Erica was previously one of our Marvelous Monkey teachers that has stepped out of the room. Ms. Erica is eager to work with all the classrooms in our school and is excited to be able to offer extra support to our teachers around our school. Ms. Erica has worked in the early childhood field since 2012 and has been with the Goddard School since April 2019.

    Ms. Karlie "Ms. KayKay" is one of our Educational Support Staff. Ms. Karlie is working on her bachelors degree in Middle School Education. Ms. Karlie has been in the field of education since 2011 and she has been employed with Goddard since June 2019.     Ms. Krystal is one of our teachers in our Zany Zebra's Classroom. She graduated with an associate's in dance in 2019 from Alvin Ailey School of Dance in New York City. Ms. Krystal received her certification in Behavioral Tech in 2019. She has worked in the education field since 2019 and joined the Goddard School February 2024. Her favorite color is Pink, in her free time she loves to dance and roller skate.

    Mr. Logan is one of our Educational Support Staff. Logan has his high school diploma and is interested in pursuing his Education in the Early Childhood Field. Logan has a three year old daughter and has been employed with Goddard since October 2023. Logan is a resource to all of our classrooms especially in our older two year old classroom and has been exceptional since bringing him aboard in October 2023. Mr. Logan's favorite children's song is "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and in his free time he enjoys spending time with his daughter.

    Ms. London is one of our Teachers in The Terrific Turtles classroom. She is currently enrolled at South Piedmont Community College, majoring in Sonography. London has worked in the education field since 2022 and joined The Goddard in January 2025. Her favorite children's song is The Wheels on The Bus. In her free time, she enjoys shopping and reading books.

    Ms. Mia is one of our Educational Support Staff. Ms. Mia is currently attending The University of North Carolina majoring in Psychology. Ms. Mia has been working in the education field since 2022 and has been employed with Goddard since December 2023. Mia's favorite children's song is In The Jungle by Dani GO, and in her free time she enjoys shopping at the mall with friends and visiting her family.

  • Susmitha

    Ms. Susmitha is one of our Wonderful Teachers in the Eager Elephants (Older Ones). Ms. Susmitha has her bachelor's degree in education. Susmitha has worked in the field of Education since 2000 and has been employed with Goddard since June 2024. Susmitha's favorite children's song is Old Mcdonald. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and watching Netflix.

    Ms. Tarsha is our Kitchen Manager. She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been in the field of education for 22 years and has been employed at Goddard since May 2012.

  • Zoe

    Ms. Zoe is one of our Teachers in the Marvelous Monkeys (Younger Ones) Classroom. She graduated from Enloe Magnet High School in Raleigh NC in June of 2021. Ms. Zoe attended Meredith College graduating in May 2025 with a degree in Early Childhood Development. Ms. Zoe has worked with children since 2021and joined the Goddard in October 2025. In her free time, she enjoys to read books and play video games. Her favorite children's song is You are my Sunshine.
